'Camels in Lakshmana Temple, Khajuraho, India, circa 950-1050 A.D.' by K.J.S.Chatrath



This is perhaps the only place in the Khjuraho temples where camels have been depicted. Terry Feuerborn, in his post ‘Camel Carvings, Laksmana Temple, Khajuraho, India, 2010’ points out that ‘these camels seem to have horses heads and hooves.
